Class 3 Outbreak, Advanced Zombie Outbreak simulator.

Class 3 Outbreak, Advanced Zombie Outbreak simulator.

While messing around yesterday, I found something called Class 3 Outbreak. Turns out, it was a Zombie Outbreak simulator. Now, I was expecting one of those “Zombie Survival simulators” Where the zombies were green pixels, and the civilians were pink. Imagine my suprise when I got treated to a fully graphical out break simulator. And even more surprising, was the features.

Features

  • Graphics!
  • Policemen
  • Armed civilians
  • Uses google maps, so you have a physical location.
  • Complete control over every variable. Armed civilian spawn %, accuracy %, Etc etc.

Cons

  • Its limited to Washington DC. That means you can’t choose your hometown :(

All in all, Binary Space did a great job on this outbreak simulator! And with only 2 people! Good job, Binary space!

Like i’ve said before each of these short films is a masterpiece in short horror films. I would love to see a zombie movie from these guys one of these days but until then these short films are plenty to keep you up at night for a very long time.

If I Die Before I Wake

Posted November 18, 2008 at 11:07 pm by Jeffrey

Immediately when i saw this I thought of a movie called Sublime. It was a hell of an emotional psychological horror ride the whole way through.  If I Die Before I Wake is similar in so many ways. It’s done very well for a 3 minute short. I am very interested to hear what everyone else has to say.

I am currently trying to get more information on the the directors of this film.

The Myrtles Plantation and Gardens Courtesy of Lagniappe Tours, Foundation for Historical Louisiana es Plantation was built in 1796 by General David Bradford. The home is supposedly Haunted by many ghosts. It has been called by many people One Of Americas Most Haunted Homes. Allegedly the home was house to at least 10 murders. There has only ever been one murder confirmed. The most popular ghost tale of the Myrtles is that of Chloe. Chloe was an angry slave who murdered the wife and two daughters of Clark Woodruff in a fit of jealousy and great anguish.

It is said that the two children can and have been seen playing on the veranda.Another manifestation is that the Grand Piano has often been heard playing by itself. Its plays only one terrifying chord.

The Myrtles Plantation is located off US 61 North, in St.Francisville, Louisiana. It is open daily for tours 9:00am to 5: 00pm, with mystery tours at 8:00pm Friday and Saturday evenings; there is a fee for admission. The Myrtles also offers bed and breakfast accomodations, and a restaurant (closed Monday and Tuesday). Please call 225-635-6277 for further information.

This short film was the winner of the 2008 comic con short horror film winner. It was directed by Mark Cripps and David J. Ellison. It is by far one of the best short horror films i have ever seen. I give this 5 stars out of 5.
