Strange Mist caught on Camera… or Ghost?

Posted November 29, 2008 at 12:21 pm by Jeff

This is another great eerie ghost video shot by the Brilliant Bliss Paranormal team. This was done at Clearwell Caves. In the video you see a strange mist pass the camera. You be the judge is it just mist or was it something paranormal.

Tips to survive a zombie apocolypse

Posted November 29, 2008 at 12:22 am by Jeff

So at one point you may encounter a zombie apocolypse. What should you do? Where should you go? What do you need to know? For The Dead Travel Fast has your guide to surviving this apocolypse.

Step 1 Do Not Panic

Nothing could be worse than everyone around you freaking out. Yelling, screaming, falling down and worst of all slowing you down. The cops will not be able to save you. They don’t even believe zombies are real. You will have to survive on your own. There is no reason to be afraid. Zombies are dumb, slow, and slower. If you panic you will just become even dumber and slower then the zombie.

Step 2 Know What You are Running from

Zombies are dead friends, relatives, neighbors and anyone other human being that died and now wants to devour you. If you are bitten your future is very bleak. Zombies are slow, they moan a lot and they will not talk.

Step 3 Prepare Yourself

This is obviously the best tip around. Do not wear high heals to run away from zombies. Do not wear loose baggy clothing. Longer hair will also be a problem.  When you are preparing Clothing and hair is not the only thing to concern yourself with. Do not stay in your apartment unless its a fortress with safe houses, guarded access, and not to mention a get a way plan.  Your get away plan is very important. Do not stick to the main Roads. They will be packed with the walking dead and soon to be dead.

Step 4 Weapons

Guns are great. They are quick, not to messy, and best of all, can be used from a safe distance. There are several problems with guns including the inevitable running out of amo. Any other weapon you can carry with you is very recommended. Swords, Knifes, Bats, screw drivers, pencils. Whatever you can use to hit the head is a plus.

Step 5 Survivors

While it is great to search for survivors make sure they haven’t been bitten. This can ruin your whole plan. Look at the irritable guy who is looking kinda pale and has covered a lot of his body even when its not necessary.

This is but a small reference to a million and one things that can happen in a zombie apocolypse. Please refer to the Zombie Survival Guide for a complete set of instructions.

& Teller

Posted November 28, 2008 at 9:20 am by Jeff

This is a pretty nice zombie short film. Its not filled with blood and guts. The famous duo penn and teller face a zombie infestation.. except Penn dies before Teller can starts filming his thoughts. Its a great short film that i really enjoyed.. Maybe its because i am a huge fan of Penn and Teller but either way i absolutely love it. The film was done by the great guys at Ghost Works and directed by Teller and Ezekiel Zabrowski.

Wewoka Oklahoma

Posted November 28, 2008 at 7:27 am by Jeff

There are several places in Wewoka Oklahoma that have been called haunted. I am going to cover one today. Crybaby Bridge.

Claim: As people have driven over a single lane  bridge, many have told a similar story. If you go over the bridge in the evening and shut off your engine and lights you might be in for something frightening. Locals claim that you can hear a baby crying if you are quiet.

Report: I wanted to take on this claim. A couple friends and I went to the bridge. We shut off the engine and waited. Luckily there wasn’t much traffic because we were there for at least ten minutes before we heard something. We were all getting a little more brave so we got out of the car and sat on the hood. That is when the noises started. We slowly started hearing what sounded like a baby crying. It got louder and louder until we all had enough and left. I believe this place to be somewhat haunted. I will get a back story on this and let you all know. Pictures coming soon.

Friday The 13th Remake

Posted November 27, 2008 at 12:11 am by Jeff

Friday the 13th is going to have a “re-imagining” much like the popular Halloween done by Rob Zombie. There isn’t an official plot yet but we at for the dead travel fast do have a few details in regards to the film. The film will be released Friday February 13th 2009. The film will focus on Jason and be set in Camp Crystal Lake. The director for this project will be Jonathan Liebesman.

I am very interested to see how this turns out. I believe that even though there were a few weeks points in this dynasty of films I still think it has the potential to be a great film. We shall wait and see. I will have the trailer for this in the movies section soon.
